Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was Born to Lawyer parents Jacqueline (madden name) and Chris Watson in Paris, France on April 15th 1990. Her parents divorced when Emma was 5 years old which is when Emma and her brother Alex Moved to Oxfordshire,England and lived with their mother.Emma's dad and mom have shard Kustity of Emma and her bother Alex At the age of 7 Emma won 1st prize in a school poetry recital: The Daisy Pratt poetry competition. Emma was just 9 years old when casting agents travelled to many different schools in England looking for talented children to audition for the parts of Harry, Ron and Hermione in the upcoming Harry Potter movies. Emma recalls that she auditioned for the part as Hermione because her friends did and she thought it would be a laugh?, her drama teacher at the time recommended Emma to the casting agents who obviously saw the same potential in her and was short listed for the role after several auditions. After being paired with several different ,Ron's and several different Harry's, Emma was called into the producers office alongside Rupert Grint who were both told at the same time that they had won the parts as Hermione and Ron. At the age of 10, Emma began filming the her first role as Hermione Granger in the 2001 movie Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone ;the first instalment of the Harry Potter movies taken from the hugely popular books written by J.K Rowling. Even though Ms Rowling had not yet met Emma, she had said that after a chat on the phone with her she knew there and then that she was absolutely perfect for the role as the books main female character Hermione Granger.On the day of release Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone had already broken many records, and Emma's performance in the movie won her critical acclaim from the film.
With Philosopher's Stone,Chamber of Secrets,Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire,and the Order of the Phoenix under her belt Emma's career seemed unstoppable as in 2007 she made her make on the word with a hand and foot signature at the famous chines theater in Los Angels California.Emma is featured in other film's like BBC1's Presitation Ballet Shoes, Emma will plays Pauline the oldest of three siblings, and another movies like The Tale of Despereaux,and Harry Potter Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince also the final installment Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow's parts one and two.Back in mid 2007, Emma launched her official website, EWO.com, to keep in closer touch with her fans. The site, run by former EW.net webmiss Jo, keeps all us Emma fans primed with the upcoming Emma news, and some exclusives, including pictures from her family's collection! It was on this website that Emma announced that her dad is remarried,and has three children from his second marriage. Emma has two-half twin sisters, Nina and Lucy, and a half-brother Toby. she also adds that her siblings have often appeared in her movies with her as extras. Emma and Jo add a personal touch by presenting selected fanart to the public, featuring Emma. Emma's personal message service, EMS, keeps fans up-to-date with her thoughts, ranging from winning awards to thoughts on the final Potter book.
In 2009 Emma became the fresh face of the Autumn/Winter 2009 Burberry campaign; this is and was Emma's first modelling endeavour. The campaign also brought to light the use of internet marketing as a tool for fashion houses, with Emma's photographs making headlines all over the world. She appeared once more, affectionately alongside her brother Alex Watson, in the Spring/Summer 2010 campaign and Christopher Bailey, the head designer of Burberry, has proclaimed Emma to be his "design muse". It can only be assumed that Emma will continue to be the face of Burberry in the coming years. Also in 2009 Emma had taken on the role of Creative Consultant alongside fairtrade brand 'People Tree'. Emma provided insight and designed a fair few articles of clothing, all of which were made under and sold under fairtrade standards. Her clothing line launched in February 2010 and brought a whole slew of brand new publicity not only on Emma but also on the harsh realities of clothing development and unfair treatment of clothing production workers. Her range was a hit with the under-25s with most of her more popular clothing (the ones which Emma herself modeled in the catalogue) selling out within a few days. Emma enthused that she had designed a range that was not only fashion wise but also ethically savvy.
In fall 2009 she started her first semester at Brown University. She willingly participated in "Freshmen Orientation Week", getting to know her fellow Brown peers and experiencing campus life. She lives on campus in one of the resident dormitories and is rumoured to be a generally down-to-Earth and shy member of the first year cohort. During breaks from her studies, Emma jetted across the world to visit her mother, father, brother and step-siblings in London, as well as catching up with friends. In the Fall of 2010 Emma once again took to her fashion roots and pared up with Alberta Ferretti in a simple Eco friendly line, and In early 2011 Emma had gone back to school to finish her classes. By the Fall she had A supporting role in My Week With Marilyn and had just finished A film called The Perks Of Being A Wallflower bast on a best selling book by Stephen Chbosky, and was named the New face of Lancome. Appearing in the ads for Lancome [Blanc Expert],[Rouge in Love] & [Trésor Midnight Rose]. In March of 2012 Emma once again went on with acting in the film's The Bing Ring starring as Nicki. Inspired by actual events, a group of fame-obsessed teenagers use the Internet to track celebrities' whereabouts in order to rob their homes. Emma also plays in the Film Your Voice in My Head starring as Emma Forrest which is about A self-destructive writer struggles with her personal issues and embarks on the difficult road to recovery.
Emma continues to love life and keep her feet on the ground being positive about her work with Fashion and Film.
